Custom In-Ear Monitors
Custom In-Ear Monitors (CIEMs) are high-precision earphones originally designed as a monitoring solution for live musical performances, replacing large format speakers known as floor monitors. CIEMs are now also used for studio performances, mixing/mastering, personal listening and even gaming. 64 Audio makes nine CIEM models ranging from 2-18 drivers per side which cost between $499-$2,999.
Our goal with the whole product range is to offer the best possible sounding monitor at each price point. Regardless of driver-count we aim to get the most out of each component to produce our balanced, accurate and musical CIEMs. All of our models reflect that signature sound, and with the increase of drivers and cost you get increased fidelity and resolution.
Custom Shape
Built to your exact ear shape for the most comfortable and consistent fit possible.
Custom Sound
Nine model variations cover the widest range of sonic requirements.
Custom Style
70+ cosmetic options provide hundreds of thousands of unique combinations.

Our CIEMs are designed primarily as monitoring tools, allowing every type of user to hear an accurate recreation of their performance. The aim is an accurate, balanced and musical sound.
By achieving this sound, rather than designing highly specialized sounding products, we’re able to offer the best solution at every price point and driver count; giving every type of user the exact model they need.
Beyond performance monitoring this sonic approach is also an effective solution for Audiophiles, Gamers, and any application where earphones/headphones are needed.
Interchangeable Modules
These interchangeable modules pack our patented apex™ technology. Used with most of our custom and universal in-ears, they allow you to adjust pressure relief, noise isolation, bass attenuation, and mix width.
Detachable Cable
The cables aren’t permanently tethered to the CIEM ensuring that their inherent shorter lifespan won’t decrease the life of your device. We offer 2-Pin and IPX connectors built onto high-quality silver-plated copper wire.
Personalized Case
All CIEM orders include our round aluminum case which can be custom engraved at no extra charge. The case is designed to fit a wide range of CIEM sizes while also housing critical accessories.
Patented Technology
Tia, or Tubeless In-Ear Audio, allows sound to travel to the ear in a more natural way, resulting in a more expansive soundstage and smooth frequency response.
The complete tia system is comprised of three elements: open balanced armature drivers, a single-bore design, and acoustic chambers. All but two of our current Custom In-Ear Monitors feature a tia single-bore and tia high driver. Our tia Trió™ and Fourté™ models feature the complete three-part system.
Apex, or Air Pressure Exchange, is a pneumatically interactive vent that releases air pressure in a sealed ear canal. This venting alleviates listener fatigue and opens the soundstage.
Apex comes in three variations, mX, m15 and m20. All of our current IEMs feature apex technology, although our tia Trió™ and Fourté™ models contain an internal apex module to preserve the tia™ acoustic chambers.
3D-Fit technology combines digital scanning, rendering and 3D-printing to retain ear impression detail. Integrating acoustical tuning features, impossible with traditional methods, enable fitting up to 18 drivers without dramatically increasing IEM height.
Compared to wax-dip molding, this process reduces distortion and maximizes internal space for precise and comfortable in-ear devices. All our Custom In-Ear Monitors and Earplugs are crafted using this advanced technique.
LID is a proprietary circuit that corrects the non-linear impedances of the drivers, restoring proper interaction with the source and preserving the desired sound signature.
Smartphones, body packs, amps, and DAPs produce audio with different output impedances. The interaction of the earphone impedance curve with the sources may result in the same IEM sounding different with different sources. LID mitigates these inconsistencies, so you can enjoy the same sound across sources.

"Think of them like earbuds but way WAY nicer. To me, I can hear the difference between these and a cheaper set. It’s all what you value."
Onepeg - Custom A12t
"The A12t IEMs are incredibly well balanced, with excellent bass representation, and an ideal solution for those who are concerned about portability."
Ryan McCambridge - Custom A12t
"A18s is my new go to IEM. It sounds big and powerful like a full blown line array with subs, yet has the clarity and resolution of a studio monitor. "
James Berry (Monitor Engineer: Beyonce, Kings of Leon, Lionel Richie, Fantasia & Maxwell) - A18s
"I’m loving having my A18t IEMs for studio work. Absolutely a life-saver having the IEMs and knowing how things should sound on them while needing to adapt to workflow! I’m sure you’re hearing the same from other studio people.."
Brandon Bost (Mixer, Producer) - Custom A18t
"To me it’s a very easy listening in-ear. Everything I’ve put this through, there’s not like a harsh high end, the mids aren’t scooped low…I’ve listened to drum mixes that I did through these, you can hear if I’m using a maple stick or a hickory stick, which is kind of insane. The articulation on the cymbals is gorgeous. There’s a really nice shimmer to it but it’s not zingy if that makes sense."
Carter McLean (Drummer for THE LION KING on Broadway) - Custom A6t
"I love how the A4s low end response is focused right where my bass sits. In a crowded mix with a loud audience and tons of stage noise, the booty never shrinks on me"
Skyler Acord (Bass: TwentyOne Pilots) - Custom A4s
"The new A4s are a joy to listen to. They’re clear, balanced, and have rich gorgeous low-end. A perfect choice for drummers and bass players. Like all of 64 Audio’s IEMs, the fit is super comfortable and the apex vent makes it so you can wear them for hours without any ear fatigue, which really comes in handy for those long rehearsal days. There is no better option at this price point!"
