Hearing Aid/Audio Repair Technician

64 Audio has an immediate need for a highly motivated and skilled repair technician to be a member of the production lab department. The repair technician will work on custom and universal built in-ear monitors.  

 

Required Knowledge, Education and Experience:

- H.S. Diploma or GED

- 1-2 years of working experience. Experience in a production setting or as a repair technician is highly preferred.

- Knowledge of ear anatomy

- Skilled in assembly of custom and universal ears

- Ability to sit for long periods of time

 - Strong dexterity skills and experiencing using small tools

- Strong attention to detail and precision orientated skills

- Attention to detail and ability to stay focused for long periods of time

- Ability to learn quickly

- Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work in a team environment

 

Essential Functions:

- Diagnosing of all problem jobs returned from internal QC department or customers (RMAs) – both custom and universal models

- Using audio measuring equipment

- Repairing of customer shells including cleaning – i.e. removing ear wax

- Performing shell repairs

- Soldering and wiring drivers

- Prepping and buffing shells when required

- Working under heighten delivery time pressures

Human Resources Manager

64 Audio is seeking a highly motivated and talented human resources manager to oversee all employment matters at its corporate offices in Vancouver, WA. The human resources manager is an exciting opportunity to bring exceptional talent and be a part of a growing and innovate company. 

 

Essential Functions

The human resources manager will be responsible for recruitment and retention, onboarding, performance management, policy implementation, employee relations, and benefits administration. Duties include:

-Developing and implementing employment policies and procedure for company personnel.

-Recommending human resources policies and procedures to management. 

-Establishing a recruitment and selection program, conducting interviews with management, and counseling managers on candidate selection.

-Conducting market studies on compensation and recommending compensation packages and compensation adjustments. 

-Completing onboarding of new employees with information packets, tours, benefits guide, etc.

-Working closely with benefits brokers in maintaining and administering current employee benefits programs and informing employees of benefits changes.

-Studying and assessing benefits needs and trends, recommending benefits programs to management, and designing educational materials.

-Ensuring legal compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.

-Reviewing and addressing employee complaints, conducting investigations and ensuring accurate and timely documentation of concerns or issues.

-Maintaining personnel records by updating job titles, documenting promotions and department transfers.

-Processing paid time off requests and assisting employees with general payroll and benefits inquiries.

-Conducting and analyzing exit interviews and managing employees on protected leaves.

 

Required Skills, Education and Experience

-Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, labor relations, psychology or related field.

-Minimum of five (5) years of experience in human resources. Candidates with human resources experience in a manufacturer setting are highly preferred.

-General knowledge of government employment regulations, health wellness programs, and 401K plans.

-Knowledge of HR processes, principles and procedures of personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits. 

-Management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

-Basic knowledge of production processes is highly preferred.

 

The expected hours for this position are 20-30 hours per week.

Part-time Accounting Assistant

64 Audio is seeking a part-time accounting assistant to assist the financial manager in all accounting and payroll matters at its corporate offices in Vancouver, WA. The accounting assistant position is an exciting opportunity to bring exceptional talent and be a part of a growing and innovate company. Essential Functions

The expected hours for the position are 10-15 hours per week, with some flexibility as to days and hours.  Duties include:

  • Processing Accounts Receivables
  • Processing Accounts Payables
  • Entering bank, PayPal and credit card entries
  • Running bi-weekly payroll
  • Reconciling bank & credit card accounts
  • Supporting and assist management and executives when needed

 

Required Skills and Experience

  • 1-2 years experience in accounting, bookkeeping or related field is preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience with Excel
  • 1-2 years of experience with QuickBooks
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting functions

Production Lab Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled lab technician to be a member of the production lab department. The lab technician will work on custom built in-ear monitors.

 

Job Requirements:

- H.S. Diploma or GED

- 1-2 years of working experience. Experience in a production setting is highly preferred.

- Ability to sit for long periods of time

- Strong dexterity skills and experiencing using small tools, buffing lathes, and small blades is highly preferred

- Attention to detail and ability to stay focused for long periods of time

Ability to learn quickly

- Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Duties will include:

- Prepping in-ear monitor shells by sculpting the exterior of the shells

- Compounding, buffing and polishing in-ear monitors

- Inspecting shells and faceplates for quality

- Meeting established daily department and lab goals

- Other production lab related duties

Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated sales representative. You will be responsible for making effective sales of 64 Audio’s IEM products. Responsibilities include making sales to  high level artists, sound engineers, and customers who are beginning their exploration of the music industry. Qualified candidates will have a background in or knowledge of the music and pro audio industry or experience in selling musical instruments or other audio equipment. Qualified candidates must have the ability to capture and retain the attention of a potential customer and make a sale.

 

Essential functions:

- Providing world-class customer service to potential and existing clients and boosting company sales.

- Facilitating the shipment of demos to potential clients in order for potential customers to experience products first-hand.

- Traveling to attend concerts, festivals, and events as needed in order to obtain promotional material from endorsed artists, demo products, deliver any products or accessories customers may need, and provide full support and confidence in 64 Audio's products.

- Assisting artists, monitor engineers, and other customers in choosing the right model based on knowledge of sound signatures of each model.

- Processing sales inquiries by responding to incoming emails, phone calls, and artist applications.

- Following up on sales leads and post sales follow up for customer satisfaction and product support.

Required skills/knowledge:

- Knowledge of the music and pro audio industry.

Required education and experience:

- This position requires at least 3-5 years of professional sales experience in the music or pro audio industry or in selling musical instruments. Applicants must be able to demonstrate solid sales and customer service experience.

Supervisory responsibilities:

- None

Work environment:

- The sales representative will be working in an office surrounded by the sales and support team. Work demands include multitasking between the phone, computer and active note taking. The position requires responding to multiple emails and phone calls throughout the day.

Physical demands:

- Sitting for extended periods of time and extensive computer use.

Position Type and Hours:

- Full- time. Monday-Friday 8am- 5pm.

Travel:

- Travel will be expected for trade shows and concerts 10% of the employee’s time.

Salary:

- A base salary of $480/week with 2.5% commission on gross profit of sales plus bonuses for periodic sales goals.
